Charlotte County

Englewood Beach

Directions: Along State Road 776 (Beach Road) near the
Charlotte-Sarasota county line.

Englewood Beach, the only gulf beach in the county. Here
beach-goers will find beutifully colored sand and
tons of sea oats growing along the dune line. There is
also a path leading to a more secluded white-sand beach
which exposes beautiful trees, vegetation and wildlife.

Port Charlotte Beach

Directions: Exit 30, go west on Harborview Rd., Cross
over 41. Harborview Rd becomes Edgewater.
Take a left when you see Harbor Road and look for signs.

Port Charlotte Beach is highlighted by it's beach
complex. This complex offers a beach club with boat
ramp, fishing pier, barbecue grills, a pool and tennis,
volleyball, basketball and horseshoes.

Stump Pass

Directions: Go west off exit 34. Pass over US41. You
will be on River Road. Go straight until Dearborn Street
and turn left on 776. Then take a right on
Beach Road. Take a left and go to the end of Manasota Key.

Stump Pass is full of beutiful soft sand beach. By walking
on a short path through the beautiful trees and vegetation,
beachgoers will see lizards and other wildlife.

Collier County

Barefoot Beach State Preserve

Directions: Take U.S. 41 to Bonita Beach Road and head west.

Wildlife Centewr with learning center and nature trail.

Bonita Beach

Directions: At the end of Bonita Beach Road.

Bonita Beach provides a nice relaxing beach to getaway from it all

Clam Pass Beach Park

Directions: End of Seagate Drive in Naples.

Clam Pass is full of Dunes, wilderness and also has free trams
from the parking area.

Delnor Wiggins Pass State Recreation Area

Directions: North end of Vanderbilt Beach.

This wildlife habitat is full of sea oats, sea grapes
and cabbage palms. Delnor Wiggins of an observation tower
and nature trail.

Naples Municipal Beach & Fishing Pier

Directions: Access is at 12th Street and Gulf Shore
Boulevard (metered parking by entrance and in lot across the street)

Tigertail Public Beach - Marco Island

Directions: Take Tigertail Court off North Collier Blvd.

Tigertail Publc Beach offers an offshore sandbar where you can search
for treasures many thought lost is the ocean forever. The tidalpools
are filled with many varities of fish. A near by bird sanctuary, which
is closed to the public, brings in many shore birds to the area.

Vanderbilt Beach

Directions: Just south of Delnor Wiggins State Park.

At this beach you can find some of the best birdwatching and shelling.

Lee County

Sanibel and Captiva Islands

Directions: Located just off the Naples area shoreline.

Sanibel is known world-wide for its shelling and is also
referred to as the "Sanibel Stoop." Sanibel has over 200
varieties of shells. The beautiful white beaches of
Captiva are legendary. Captiva is just west of Sanibel across a short bridge.
